Throughout the semester I have acted in different ways in order to better understand the concept of sustainability. Through class discussions, recognition of different architectural projects and the excursion week I realized that through the action of sustainability we can reach a greener, and more economical architecture.
In designing the project, I was involved in realizing sustainability combined with the realization of my vision within a university that I create in Dornbirn.
Some questions have concerned me –
what will be the character of the university?
Is a university necessarily just an academic institution
or can it have other goals as well?
And what do the residents of Dornbirn need in their lives?

3 Ethical Principles of Permaculture:
Care for the earth
Care for people
Only take your fair share (and return any or share any surplus or waste)
"Urban Kibbutz": a settlement that exists within the areas of an existing locality (a city) and establishes the lifestyles of a separate and cooperative community. Another name that belongs to this type of kibbutz in Israel is "Kibbutz Educators".
Since the 1990s, the youth movements have established kibbutzim (urban or rural), and most of them belong to the Dror Israel movement

Agriculture class – The class is intended for up to 12 students. In the classroom, the students experience growing different plants and growing vegetables and fruits for use by residents of the urban kibbutz. It has a classroom for theoretical studies as well as a greenhouse and field crops on the roof of the science class spread over an area of 650 square meters.

Center for the elderly in Dornbirn, who want to be part of the urban kibbutz during the daytime and interact with a diverse community. The elderly have activities during the day, thinking games, seating areas for resting and watching movies. As part of the proximity to the kindergarten next door, a collaboration with the children in the kindergarten is derived - many studies indicate an improvement in the health of the elderly when they are in the environment of young children, which is why I care about the closeness between the two.
Kindergarten and nursery - designed for the children of Dornbirn as a whole, the framework will also last for the afternoon (afternoon) and will coincide with the activities of the day center for the elderly. The children's playground in the garden is next to the lake and is open to the shared courtyard.

The local belonging of university students and staff to the community that lives in the city is concrete to me. In my vision I see the students taking an integral part within social and cultural organizations in the city, and adopting values of sharing, volunteering, contributing, helping each other

In order to realize the characteristics of the Israeli kibbutz, I choose to combine several different programs together within the structure. The encounter between the different programs causes a high-quality encounter between different populations, strives for better social communication between different age groups and shows us that a university is not books and notebooks, but is the university of our life. Through it, we will acquire tools for independent life after high school, acquire a profession, and meet groups from populations that without the university, there is no reason we should meet just like that in the local neighborhood.
I mean, maybe we would. But I choose to create social situations that will put us in our will in the face of reality. Without polishing our lives. That's my vision.
